WEST LEBANON — Carmon Walker (Coxey) Hanson, 63, of West Lebanon, died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. He had been in failing health the past year and a half. He was born July 25, 1906, in Hedrick, the son of Bert and Maude Walker Hanson. He married Mildred Haptonstall April 8, 1936, at Covington and she survives. He was retired, operated a billiards room in West Lebanon for many years. He was a member of the Warren County community all of his life and he served in the Armed Forces during World War II. Surviving, in addition to the wife, are: two sons, Dennis of Danville and Douglas of Indianapolis; two brothers, Lawrence Hanson of West Lebanon and Bert Hanson Jr. of White Pigeon, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Mitchell Santoreneos of Joliet, Ill., and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crowmer-Siddens Funeral chapel in West Lebanon. The Rev. William Thompson officiated and burial was in the West Lebanon Cemetery. The VFW Post 278 of Danville, Ill., presented full honors at the graveside.  --typed by Walt W
